The opening to our Final Task will have a cute Times New Roman font towards the beginning, up until tension builds up, then we plan on slowly incorporating a scarier, more horror-like font. Maybe something that looks a bit scratchy and less neat. This will match the mood of the film. The title will appear in the middle, and the credits will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. -Title of film: the intended title for this project will be called "Backstabber". -It will be a large, thin Times New Roman font. -The title that appears first will be in the middle of the screen in a larger size. -The credits for this film will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. -The tiles will pop onto the screen and slowly fade out after a few seconds. -The color of the words will be white, and depending on how bright the lighting is for each scene, we will decide if there should be a black outline added. -The title of the credit will not be bolded but the name appearing aft

 This is a thriller/mystery film. Our group researched and found this movie on artofthetitle.com. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The opening sequences starts out by first showing the names of the most prominent actors in the movie. It then further ventures to show who the film is by, the title of the film, who the casting is by, sound designer, production designer, editor, who selected the music, director of photography, executive producers, and finally the writer and director.  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Throughout the opening scene there’s are numerous sudden and flashing images displayed behind the different titles. This consists of images of hands, eyes, statues, photos, a skull, a person, graphs/notes, a syringe, different news articles, ufo/aliens. Many of the images have very dark coloring on them which can be hard for the audience to make it out what it is. All these images could be clues to what the story of the movie is about

Spooky, mysterious images are prioritized in the opening sequence that suggest what the film is going to relate to. These images include many up-closes of books, investigations, mysterious writings, a razor, and the colors were mostly dark, with black and white tones. This was added together to create a seamless, mysterious, spooky opening to the movie that effectively presented the  titles. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the opening scene?

With the final task deadlines rapidly approaching, it was time to conduct research on the opening sequences of various movies! After some research, I discovered a website called Art of the Title. This site has thousands of opening sequences from movies, organized alphabetically by designers and studios to make it easier to find certain films. I also found another website called Watch the Titles. This website also has excellent organization, giving me a strong base to work off of for my own film. Both websites have films from all kinds of genres, including the genre I selected for my film- mystery! I explored both platforms and after some consideration, I decided that both websites would be of great use to my group and me. I will definitely be utilizing these websites due t
