How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?   My product engaged in conventions, and used specific camera angles, shots, and elements to create the desired result , that went along with the genre the song  belonged to . This genre was R&B/Soul/Con temporary, with Pop and Rap. The ambient sound was important, because it intensifies the mood of the music video. The project also included non-diegetic sound , which was imported by the editing software , CapCut . This gave the music video a more authentic feel, because my group and I added this element to the intro of our video. Production Blog - Done Filming!

 Hey guys! It's Lindsay once again, and this week my group and I finally finished filming our AICE Media Studies Music Video! Horray! I had so much fun doing it, and my group and I got the third day of filming done yesterday. Beforehand, I organized the costumes and made each group member aware of the outfit they would wear in the final scenes. Then I prepared my self and belongings, and went to Emerson's house after school. The first filming location was to be her bedroom, where the intro and the outro were filmed. Before the hangout, I put together the photobook. This was one of my tasks. I used an old notebook and glued construction paper to it. Then, I wrote 'photobook' on it and printed out pictures to go inside of it. Then, the next scene was at Starbucks, a local coffee shop/cafe. My group and I made sure we asked for permission to film in there. Then we got started and did the next scene. This took a little while to get the placement of the camera correct. This
