Production Blog - Done Filming!

 Hey guys! It's Lindsay once again, and this week my group and I finally finished filming our AICE Media Studies Music Video! Horray! I had so much fun doing it, and my group and I got the third day of filming done yesterday. Beforehand, I organized the costumes and made each group member aware of the outfit they would wear in the final scenes. Then I prepared my self and belongings, and went to Emerson's house after school. The first filming location was to be her bedroom, where the intro and the outro were filmed. Before the hangout, I put together the photobook. This was one of my tasks. I used an old notebook and glued construction paper to it. Then, I wrote 'photobook' on it and printed out pictures to go inside of it. Then, the next scene was at Starbucks, a local coffee shop/cafe. My group and I made sure we asked for permission to film in there. Then we got started and did the next scene. This took a little while to get the placement of the camera correct. This was the studying scene. Then, the next location to film was outside the Starbucks. In this process though, there was a small obstacle. When setting up my camera on the tripod, the wind blew so hard it knocked it over! My iPhone almost shattered, but thank goodness the screen protector saved it! Phew, that would have been a close one! Then my group and I arrived at the tennis courts. The pan, Dutch angle, and extreme close-up were filmed here. These clips took a few tries to get the lighting right. I personally enjoyed this particular filming day. This was because I had fun at the tennis courts and got to get a fun new holiday coffee at Starbucks. Since it is November, they just released all the new holiday flavors! Anyways, my group and I finished up filming at the pool, then went to the playground and a park to get a low angle and finish up the video. By this point we were finally done!
