Production Blog: Kicking It Into Gear!

 Hey guys! It’s Lindsay and I am back again, updating you guys on how the final task is progressing. My group mates and I have selected who will be in the short film. The main stars are simply my group mates and I. Emerson, Mela and me. Then, we have asked someone from our school to film as well. Her name is Rowyn. She will act as the server at the restaurant. My group mates and I sketched out the scenes, in addition to the storyboard. This way, the sketches will be more detailed than the storyboard. For example, the outfits and environment in each scene can be shown in close detail. This allows for a smoother, easier filming time. I think my group and I will start filming this weekend. Or at least next week. It is still hard when everyone is busy. However, everyone has been able to fit it into their schedule. This is going to be a very fun final task. I think that it will be important to be flexible, for the locations could give us issues. This is why my group and I have worked out backup plans. Just in case I cannot film at the restaurant, or the specific beach, my group planned to go to. All in all, this will be an interesting experience. I am excited to move further into the project.
